USED Bach Stradivarius 229 C Trumpet
This is a used Bach large bore C trumpet with a 229 lightweight bell. There is considerable red rot on both the leadpipe and main slide but no holes present. There are also a few minor dings and some "road rash," but the horn is otherwise in good working condition. This instrument was previously owned by Tony Prisk of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The trumpet was professionally ultrasonically cleaned and serviced prior to listing it for sale.
***VINTAGE HORN DISCLAIMER***
While the valves and slides are fully functional and move freely, trumpets of this age commonly have excessive wear and sometimes unknown lineage and repair history that cannot be fully known to us. As such mechanical action can be finicky under a variety of conditions some of which may include choice of valve oil, valve hand position & previous repairs or valve overhauls.
